One is getting paid by the block hour....the other is not....you figure out which..~~~^~~~ said:777's and 747's might cruise at Mach .86 but their Captains taxi at about the same speed as the Earth's crust. Now find a Flight Express C210, not only will he fly the entire ILS at VMAX, he will taxi past the FedEx MD-11 going to the ramp.
Actually, the ticket will probably stick. I have flown with that particular trooper and even gave him some instrument instruction for proficency purposes. At that time, he had written thousands (no that is not a typo) of tickets and had only ever had 1 dismissed in court. As for it being inaccurate, he almost always took at least two timings with the stop watch and when he compared results with guys on the ground, he was never off by more than a few MPH. At those speeds, even if he is off by 10 mph, it is not that important. I would have loved to see the look on his face as he tried to keep up in the 182.Honda 1000 cannot do 200 mph even with mods. Only a very select group can get over the 175mph barrier. He will beat the ticket for the speeding gauged by the plane (very innacurate) but will be stuck with the reckless driving and speeding from the radar gun.
One is easier to stop compared to the other. That's why the ATR's taxi with the airspeed indicator alive.FracCapt said:One is getting paid by the block hour....the other is not....you figure out which..![]()
