Any CE750 Drivers out there?

Wondering if any of you X-drivers used fltplan.com to file your flight plans. The boss-man is thinking of making a purchase and we are trying to get some "real-world" info on the ten. Any way I could get your detailed fuel burns for each altitude, etc. and any particular likes/dislikes, charcteristics, etc. We will be doing a lot of Chicago to Vegas, Palm Springs, Aspen for the owner and then it would be put on a 135 certificate as well. If any of you guys are 135, what is the hourly rate on the aircraft? Any info you could provide would be much appreciated.

Looks like you are anxious for info so I'll bite. We used GDC (Global Data Center) to file. Its a Honeywell company and it was a great service. Not sure what it cost, I'm sure its not cheap, but their X numbers were very accurate. With GDC, they told us what the burn would be so we didn't concern ourselves with charting actual burns. Figure 2500-2800 lbs first hr, 2000 for the next two or so and 1800 for the last couple. We almost allways planned FL390-430 right from the beginning, if fuel was tight, we'd go higher. Wasn't rocket science. The city pairs you mentioned would be a piece of cake any time of year, any altitude with any load. (at least pt 91)

Most of our flights were 135 so we had to pay closer attention to the numbers. Runways in the neighborhood of 5000ft required extra attention, pt.135 that is.
Our Charter rate changed a little, but was between $3600-$4200/hr. The lower rate was given to a customer who had a great fuel discount. $4200 was for suckers desperate to fly on a Ten.

Some guy mentioned mx issues. The ten has its moments but I saw a significant impovement in its reliability. I'm not sure how many tens are available for charter, but I know they are in demand. The company I used to work for committed all of ours to one customer and the dispatchers allways said they wished the had a couple more because they were constantly getting requests for them.
 
Thanks for the info x-rated. Know of anywhere I can get fuel burns per hour at any altitude to plug into fltplan.com? We are also trying to do time vs. fuel cost, etc. to compare the 750 with the Sovereign. We know it can do it, but the boss is a big business kind of guy and wants 'numbers", as he put it.
 
X-Numbers

Fltplan.com is a pretty good tool, cheap........free and is great for overall use. We also used GDC for flt planning and ran around 10K for the full service program. You can file all your flt plans at home or on the road, and if you need to give them a call - they take care of things, your own personal dispatch-excellent investment. If you run into a bind GDC is worth every penny. For most flt planning needs, Fltplan.com works well except for fltplans that interact with TFR's. I never had any problems with fltplan.com.-very reliable.

Flight planning with Fltplan.com, we used the hourly method. 2700-first hour, 2200 -second, 2000 -third 1800-fourth, and fifth. You can manually input fuel burns in Fltplan.com-altitudes etc. however, I found that using the hourly method was almost as close as GDC, within a few hundred pounds. International flying we used Universal Flight Planning and they did a great job-flt plans were very close.

I don't know of any place where you could get specific numbers for fuel burns other than "the book". If you did your Excel training at Flight Safety, you could give them a call and they could probably shoot you some copies of the info you need. I've often given the guys in ICT a call about questions I've had while on the road and they've allways been accomodating.

What is Vmo on the X?

Does the X environmental system have two air cycle machines (or any air cycle machines)?

Mmo - (above 30,650ft.): .92 mach indicated.
Mmo - (w/ mach trim off): .82 mach indicated.

Vmo - (8,000 30,650ft): 350 KIAS.
Vmo - (below 8,000ft): 270 KIAS

Bump.......anyone have anything good to share, dont know how much more I can read about all these accidents.
