Any CAT pilots on here?

Just looking for a little updated info. QOL, sched, long term prospects, bases etc...

Well I don't work for CAT but I know 2 guys that do, one is an FE the other an FO. I talk more often to the FE. He is a little worried about UPS aquiring Emery which is all CAT flys. He thinks he may be on the street in a few months. Other than that his schedule sucks(on the road for 20 plus days) upgrading is non existant, the pay is appx $50 an hour.

Well, that's not what I wanted to hear. Do you have any idea if UPS is planning on operating the DAY hub themselves, or would they contract it out?

As far as the PFT F/O thing goes, do you know if they ever hire F/O's that haven't paid the 29 grand?

Myth: Upgrades are non-existent
Fact: They have gone from about 8 to 20 planes in a little over
a year. How could there not be upgrades.

Myth: All Cat's flying is for Emery
Fact: No it's not.


As far as upgrading, they do not have a union so up grades are not based entirely on seniority. Much of the decision is based on performance and not whining and crying about everything.

There seems to be a CAT plane in Laredo...not sure if it is based or not
