If your are, the wheel bearing cap on the main gear wheels. Does it say "Boeing" on it? From what I remember seeing is that it is made out of alum. or pot metal. Any insight?

Thanks

Yes, all the ones I have ever saw had "BOEING" on them and if I remember correct I think they were cast aluminum.

Thanks

The part in question is actually an anti skid sensor cover. It has a slot that the paddle of the sensor fits in, and fastens to the wheel with 3 screws. The wheel bearing cap is under the skid sensor.

Mine says, "Boeing" on the outside and says casting # 50-10638-1 on the inside.

It was intended for a KC-135A. :)
