Hey Guys, just wanted to see if any old Captains I used to fly with are members of "The Hanger" (I used to be your Fo) Sure miss flying into Aspen, Vail, Jackson-Hole! You guys were right...That was one of the best flying jobs so far that a pilot could have! I can remember doing 2 missed approaches, before being able to do the contact-overhead circle approach before getting in! (Yea, what a time!). Flying at the majors was not the same and expecially when the furloughs came, (wish i had a crystal ball). Anyways here your down to 5-6 of the whisper-jet's, what a shame. Just remember... "time is money$ and speed kills"
I've been running a business for the past 2 years and ready to get back into some descent flying job, (Cargo, Regional, etc.) It's going to be fun to go back since it looks like they are not going to call for a while, the plan is to run the business on my days off and have the two sources of income... good advice I believe one of you guys gave me that I am going to live bye for the rest of my career.
Hope to hear from any of you guys, (mostly the DEN CA's). I was based in Denver and moved to the CRJ before going to the BIG-D. Think my last year was in 1999 back when flying for an airline was fun. I hope to find that job again..
and if anyone knows of a good! Fun! Safe place to fly either respond to this or PM me....Thanks
