THis is NOT my idea-off this board from another poster.

In UAL went under, ACA, AWAC and SkyWest could merge into 1 carrier, with their own reservations system and fly their existing airframes with their own route structure.

Interesting...

I wonder if any of the mgmt of the above have thought of this, or would seriously consider something like this?

It was addressed during a presentation given by the AirWis higher ups. On our own is not in the cards.

Your post sounded like a headhunting type of comment about "jumping ship", with the part about Comair (in your bio) left unspoken. Airlines that are hiring are always looking at current and qualified pilots that they can get online quickly and possibly shortcut the hiring/training process. ACA did it all the time. Ziggy1
