Looks like 1/4mi fog, but we'll call it 1mi just to be safe.... :)
 
The 727 is the airplane most people refer to as the trijet. However, I've heard others refered to that as well. DC-10, MD-11, L-1011, and DA-50/Da-900 for example.
 
Its now the most popular photo of yesterday, and the caption is back. (See reflection?... I'm trying here, but I still don't get it.)

Nice pic though, I like the ambiance.
 
Perhaps the "author" was referring to the reflection of the starboard engine in the polished (and therefore reflective) portion of the fuselage...

A tenuous link, to be sure, and not very funny either. :)
 
Yeah, that's what I kind of figured... I guess it's to be expected.
 
It has an APU, doesn't it? Therefore, 737: trijet.

727: quadjet.

747: quintjet

B-52: Uhhh....Uhhh...my head hurts. :confused:
