I crashed on my last carrier landing. But I got up, dusted myself off, climbed the stairs and tried again! How'd your last carrier landing go, Dave? Was it a CAS mission?

MAGNUM!!

Sounds like you are talking about the Cubi Cat at the NAS Cubi Point O Club.

I tried it probably 4 or 5 times while I was there and never could catch the wire.

Some AF fighter dudes from Clarke came in one night and thought they would show the Navy & Marine carrier guys how to do a proper carrier landing. To their great surprise they ended up in the water every try. They finally gave up and bought lot of drinks for their maritime bros.

How much did you have to pay the bar to be rescued after you crashed in the water?
