For those of you working there what have your experiences been with flying with the Captains there? I've heard many different views about how they run the cockpit and how they view FOs. Is it similar to the US environment that the FO opinion matters or is it more of a gear up and shut up environment?

Also, what are the flight attendants like - cute, friendly, fun to go out with??

As an FO I can tell you that the line captains are outstanding. CRM is important, and the cockpit environment is quite friendly and professional. As for the "hosties," if you have to ask, you don't know much about Emirates.

I wish it was like that everywhere. At my company it is a gear up and shut up policy and no CRM at all. Safety goes way down but I guess they don't care. I wonder why we are averaging one major accident per year....

Emirates

Go to Pprune, lots of threads on the airlines in the Midle East, South East Asia, India, etc. Good source for opinions on just about anything you could use.
Cheers
