get there soon if you care, because i'll probably be deleting about 20 pictures to conserve webspace pretty soon, unless i can find somewhere else to host the pictures (*hint*hint*)

these pictures are from my flying lesson today. i am doing a tailwheel transition in a 7ECA citabria, and we flew to dacy airport to work on wheel landings. we decided to stop and get out to take some pictures of the airport and it's resident airplanes. on an unrelated note, my instructor was so impressed with my flying today that she gave me my tailwheel endorsement already, even though i'm only about half done with the training

previous galleries:
pictures from getting my float rating in alaska
pictures from off-roading in indiana

Great pics, as mentioned before, you got a future in photography.

I like the ol 310.
Wish you would have snapped a shot of the Velocity, behind the saab, pic 14. :)
What's that yellow thingy on the bottom? Wittman tailwind???

As far as hosting...
Get yourself a domain thru www.doteasy.com (I think $30) and host your site for free. Plenty of space too. No-brainer.

Congrats on the tailwheel! Ever try x-wind landings yet? ;)

neither my instructor nor i knew what type of airplane that is, but it says "4runner" on the nose

the $0 hosting there only gives me 20mb, which isnt nearly enough :( i'm using 25mb for the pictures i have right now, so i'd have to get the $8/month hosting and i'm too cheap

Ah, Dacy Airport. It has been 10 years since I last dropped in there. Looks like it hasn't changed a bit (which is refreshing actually). Is that abandoned old C-310 still sitting on the south end of tie downs along 18/36? It had supposedly been sitting there for over a decade when I last saw it. The rodents loved it. Tell the old guy next time you see him to get a belt.

i don't remember seeing a c-310, but it might still be there

i updated all the pages with links to each other to make it a coherent website, starting here

The yellow taildragger is a Teschendorf-Thomas Four Runner.....180 HP
If anyone is familiar with the Tailwind, this is like a four place version of that w/out the looks...

Wow. An ex-Beagle Saab. My heart's all a-twitter. Not.

I've seen em before....and always a pleasure seeing them again!
Cool!

If you're in s. florida, go to Opalocka airport snap some pics of all the DC-3s, Convairs, DC-6/7s, and even Russian junk laying around (most of em operational)...before they're all sent to Arizona for scrap.
