Have any reports come out as to a cause? Speculation here has ranged from CG issues, whether cargo shift or improper load, or loss of #2. Would the load consist of a 'full' airplane to include empty containers which would preclude shifting cargo, or would typical less than full loads leave open positions? I know how my beloved DC-8 is loaded, no clue for DC-10/MD-11 types.

I have known a number of Gemini crew members over the years, but I don't know whether any of my past friends or acquaintances were involved in this (I did not know BJ). Regardless, I still reel from the loss as they were my brothers.

Loss of #2 would have been a royal challenge, but if they were experienced as many on this board are bearing witness they would have been up for the challenge. My money is on a cargo shift.

My prayers and thoughts are now to the families.
