I could care less about working there but how is it that they are not scrambling to find pilots and dropping minimums like so many other "established" regionals are?

Lots of pilots have backgrounds that make it so any even somewhat respected airline wouldn't hire them. These pilots have to work somewhere.

Because gayjets does has not had any growth and their pilots have difficulty going to better companies dispite what the few loud mouths on this board will try and have you believe.

They are still scumbags in my book and most of the people I fly with have strong feelings about them.

Exactly. Despite all the hype on this board, GoJets pilots aren't leaving for other companies...BECAUSE THEY CAN'T!!! Might as well just wipe your butt with your resume, cause its useless!

They are now just learning what mistake they made........

Have fun.......

NEVER FORGET

That's all a bunch of crap.

Go Jet pilots are now welcome everywhere because of their superior aviation experience flying jets. Why?: They now have more "experience" than you do, as well as a far superior work ethic.

Ha Ha. So you are standing by to bounce them from an interview too huh?

I bet they are welcome at third world outfits like Southern, Focus, Atlas (STN) and such.

Okay, I was out of the country for about 2 years and have no idea about gojet, can somebody fill me in why there's so much hatred towards this airline.

I know four guys who went from GJ to Continental, FedEx, Frontier and Alaska.

Yeah and those guys like all the other homojet pilots put "Trans States Airlines Holding" on their resume. That's the truth!

Being an illini, you should know better not to be at gayjets or support those bastards. we've preached enough at careers fairs in champaign.

First of all, I am not an Illini Alumn....just support for the Chief, since the NCAA banned the use of the Chief as the mascot.

Second, did you see thier resumes? You must if you're stating that its a fact.

Third, I'm not at GJ. I know these guys from working with them at a previous airline.

I don't agree with GJ's, but the fact is...they are getting jobs at bigger and better places.

This industry isn't as "hardcore" or "extreme" as some would like it to be. Freedom A-listers are at SWA, JetBlue and other majors. REAL scabs from Eastern and UAL are at other major airlines.

This industry holds no loyalty from top to bottom.

my apologizes! I meant no disrespect towards you personally. But, yes gayjet pilots F-EM! I'm not saying ex-gayjets are not getting hired elsewhere... but they are still scums!

Yes, I do know 2 ex-gayjets pilots that are at airtran and were very open about their resume tactics.

im ex-tsa, so i got my issues with gayjets. i may not be much, but all those furloughs, and ex-tsaers are getting the word out. if you ever run into my at the airport, im the one with several anti-gayjet stickers on my bag. come and say hi!

Subin30,
Why didn't you guys transfer to GJ in great numbers. Wouldn't you have voted in ALPA and controlled both airlines. Seems to me with that kind of controll you woud have had Uncle Hulas by his "ball bearings". What prevented you guys from pursuing that course. Why don't you spearhead the "merge the seniority lists" movement that I hear is gaining momentum, instead of exporting your ignorance based on union rhetoric. Yes I ended this post negatively only to make you feel at home. For the record GJ has ridden in my jumpseat, I have ridden in theirs and I have ridden in yours too! they seem a little happier than you guys. You guys work for the same management, merge the dam lists, put up a fence and move on.

wow, what a great plan? why didn't i think of that... join those fu$king bastards. ill send my stuff in right away.

I'm glad you ride on their jumpseat, and they ride yours. I got my issues with gayjets and let that be. Let me decide how i want to deal with gayjets. YOu are more than welcome on my jumpseat. I dont commute, so I'll save you the trouble of not riding on yours (whoeever you work for?), if you have a problem with pilots who hates gayjets. put yourself in our shoes and say the same thing... seriously.

whats done is done. and its only gonna get worse for tsa. TSA will never win if they try to merge. Hulas will never let that happen. Gayjets will grow and tsa will disappear. just wait and see... how would you like that to happen to your current airline.
