I hear Air Tahomeless is loosing most their pilots again. Must be all their pilots "bad attitudes", because it COULDN'T be the Rudes. Seems they have lost another check airman and captain as well, must not be as good as JZ says it is or he wouldn't be leaving. With all the "expansion" their doing, the last thing they need is to loose more guys.

Also they seem to be going after a few guys with their training "contract". I'll love to hear what comes of that. I bet the Ohio Dept. of Labor is loving another 15 calls from angry Air Tahoma pilots.

Poor RW, the thought of loosing the DHL contracts and DHL Jenny leaving has ran him out of the country. Guess he didn't really believe those "alleged threats" about him being killed when in the Philippines.

Wonder what happened to the dispatch nerd we all loved to hear from? I bet the Rude's rears are getting crusty from the lack of butt-kissing.

But as the mighty cockroach, Air Tahoma still crawls along

Sounds like the same old story. It is tragic when evildoers with "bad attitudes" infiltrate a great company, ruin the operation, and then suddenly leave. :(

I once had and old school freightdog give me the advice "don't never take a job someplace where they hire you over the phone".

All it took was paying a visit to them down in LCK and getting a look at the pay rig they used. I decided to get the F out of there in a hurry. I'd love to fly a CV-580 someday, but it won't be a Tahoma bird that's for sure.

The rudes

If there is ever one company in this business that needs to be shut down its ATI, and the Rude family. God you would have thought Bud Rude crashing a dc-4 and killing his brother and almost himself would have beat something into his head. Well after a few decades of continued crappy planes, and the poorest of working conditions I guess not! I would love to see them go after a pilot for a training contract! If I were one of them I would just march down to the local fsdo and start talking, I bet that would change their mind real quick! Oh and by the way I would love to see noel, or bud rude walking around columbus ohio so I could kick the living crap out of them!

Ummm, corpex is hiring...it's not freight,
the advancement possibilities are minimal,
but it is less abusive from what I've
read here...and you will probably make
more than $6500/yr as a FO...and we
could use more exfreightdogs in the mix!
(I've flown with one of the refugees
from ATI, a good guy and we need more
like him).

Smyrna.... Yuck

The only place I can think of worse than Smyrna is Columbus!

Still, Corpex(or Regal or whatever their calling it) is way better than Air Tahoma! 50 year airplanes are only safe if their MAINTAINED! You will will be probably be seeing MANY Tahomeless pilots come your way once DHL gives the Rudes the boot after the hub merger.

Noel is like Bud, he will slither along forever! Or, I guess, more like a cockroach than a snake. If the Bud ever kicks the bucket, there will be a mass party to celebrate! It will be funny watching the three Rude "hell spauns" fight eachother over control of their crappy little company after it happenes.

Anybody know if Tahoma is still flying in Vietnam? What a scary thought that is, flying a Convair over that much water into an unfriendly country. Maybe they got shot down already!

Other than turning down a job there I have no dog in this fight but this was funny:

Oh and by the way I would love to see noel, or bud rude walking around columbus ohio so I could kick the living crap out of them!

Holy Crap!

How in the hekk do they expect to get people to fly for these rates!! Anyone taking a job there should be on some sort of list somewhere! That is going to bring this whole industry down! Some one should fax this to DHL. Someone there should be interested to know how little they are gettting paid. That is insane. Even worse since I worked there! In closing I would just like to say once again the rude family is a bunch of a-holes! DONT WORK FOR THEM!

ati

I heard them on MEM ctr the other night going into LIT, I guess they got there one Ad Hoc floight of the year. Not sure if it was the round engine or not but probably was. The rudes shat on me like everyone else. Bud when he dies this world will truely be a safer world for pilots. Lies and more lies from those guys.

Where ya been Hyperboy? Long time no chat!

I was close to being victimized by said company, but quit 3 days into training when I realized they wanted us to dispatch, turn wrenches, and other things more than fly. I consider myself lucky for leaving.

And now the attorney chimes in.

Well appreantly myself and other former ATI pilots are recieving certified letters from the Rudes family attorney about the info we have shared on this board! So appreantly on this board 1st amendment rights have no place. IT seems the Rudes are concerned that we on this board might be tarnishing their image! Well I would like to be the 1st to apologize to the rudes for telling the truth. Never once have I personally lied to anyone about this operator. I have been ordered not to talk anymore about this company. So everyone I leave to make your own opinions about this operator.

Nicholas

IF anyone else has recieved this letter P.M. me as my family is very very rich, and we have are own attorney as well.

I would like to make it known that in no way has Nick5600's comments swayed my opinions of ATI. My opinions have always been that they (the rudes and their company, not the pilots that work for them) are pond scum. That opinion came from hearing that ATI has sent letters to all current and former pilots threatening legal action if they don't stop talking about ATI. (see, you destroyed your own reputation, ATI. I (and probably no one else) don't want to work for a company that's going to threaten me with legal action, therefore, I will not be applying.) Any company that has to send that type of letter to ALL of it's employees needs to recognize that something is wrong with the management and the way the business is run.

For those of you who have shared your OPINIONS of ATI, thankyou for saving the lives of your fellow pilots.

Who ever has one of those letters why dont you post it here for all to read??

Person's names have been left off......
