Anyone out there flying 121 with ankle fusion surgery (or know anyone who is)? Thinking about it but worried about passing Class 1 physical.

I have my doctors telling me to have that done too. For now I am just living with it as is. But I know my days are numbered. How can one land in a crosswind with your ankle fused. You get to use the rudder or the brake but how can you do both.
Anyway, good luck to you and I hope you find the answers yor looking for.

Hi guys.
I see it's been a while since you posted this. Just curious about how you're doing. I fly 121 and have had a few ankle surgeries so I can feel your pain. It's scary to think that a procedure to eliminate some pain can be a career ender. I messaged you both with my contact information. I would love to hear from you. Hope you're well.
