I am wondering what the life of a C-5 pilot for the guard/reserve is like? I am especially curious about the deployments. "Typically", how long are the deployments? I have heard that they are not as long as a C-130 crew. Is that true? Do many guard or reserve c-5 pilots have jobs with the airlines? Are there any C-5 pilots on this message board that could answer my questions and give me a little more insight to the life as a c-5 pilot? Thanks for any help.
