eh...it had to do with required equipment for a certain ILS

it said

"RADAR and ADF or DME Required"

So I wondered...did it mean
RADAR and ADF or DME Required -or-
RADAR and ADF or DME Required

The conjunctions threw me for a loop for about 10 minutes...
 
ppl like us here talking pure bull sh,t a airline or airlines should be thinking how is it that these guys/gals in this forum are still awake at this time , ? maybe we should hire them little experience no experience who cares this ppl want to be flying.......... lets get them to join our airlines!!!!!
Hell yea we will succeed no mater what and thats the botton line.

No they don't

RADAR and ADF or DME Required - means RADAR and ADF can be Replaced by DME
RADAR and ADF or DME Required - means RADAR is required, but it has to be accompanied by ADF OR DME...your choice

One requires RADAR, one doesn't necessarily.

FWIW, I take it to mean that you need radar and either DME or an ADF.

Thats what I thought, but after looking at the approach. All of the fixes are either RADAR, DME, or NDB/VOR fixes

At first, I thought it was that way, but you can fly the approach without RADAR if you've got DME because you can still ID the fixes (including the holding fix off of the M.A.) So I took it to be:
RADAR and ADF or DME Required - means RADAR and ADF can be Replaced by DME

someone should really talk to the FAA about their grammar :rolleyes:

Total...I think its 100nm straight line one way...then the other 150 coming back...3 different approaches to landings...

I THINK...its been a while
 
don't buy one, just download it...id give you the link but my browser just crapped all over my computer and its got all the links on the toolbar erased :mad: POS Dysfunctional thing...
