This is a rumour, though a very plausable one. JO is trying to keep the
Freedom certificate alive and has placed 2 1900s on it already. If such
an event occurrs please do not attack those that are forced onto the Freedom
certificate, there's nothing worse than pilots turning on each over. Don't we
have enough to handle already with crew scheduling and out of touch
management?

They've had one or two 1900's on the freedom cert. for awhile, with the crews to run them.

I talked to an AMW guy the other day who was mortified about this prospect. He's a commuter (who isn't considering the displacements) and positively dreads the thought of trying to commute with a Freedom I.D. Poor guy. Use the list, not the badge. The list will set you free.

word is PHX FSDO turned MAG down on adding the 1900 to Freedom. DFW FSDO then turned them down with a note saying, didn't PHX turn you down? word is the feds think MAG has one too many certificates and i'm sure one will go byebye, hopefully the right (F8) one.
