Amflight crash?

Anybody know any updated info on the Amflight crash out near Lone Pine? Flight 132 I believe it was. I used to fly that route and can't imagine how it could have happened and would love inside info.

Amflight crash

Happened to hear about it several months ago. NTSB final report not out yet, but you can read about it on their website. Report # LAX04FA102-accident occured in 01/21/04.

The investigation is leading towards the theory of the pilot falling asleep at the controls. Sounds like it could be true, considering it was daytime VFR. However, this is just a theory and not definite yet.

Heard from a friend at FAA that NTSB received the tox report, negative for alcohol, drugs or carbon monoxide, no chemical reason for incapacitation.
