The last time any hiring went on at Amerijet was probably about two years ago and everyone that did the interviewing back then has since left, so I think you're all on your own.
By the way, what position are you interviewing for? Thought they were only hiring PFE's... if that's the case you better know everything there is to know about the B727.
Things may have changed, but normally hire for the FE seat, unless you are being hired as captain off the street.
Back then they had a 100 question general knowledge test. aerodynamics, airmanship, FARs. A one on one with the Chief Pilot and Director of training. I think both are gone from when I was there. The director of training went to JB.
Lastly a sim ride. In an old fixed base DC-8 sim. They asked about intercepting bearings relating to an NDB (that should send a little flag right there.)
We had 15 in the interview group, and 12 were hired. That was back in the days when we had the BAX Global contract. Last I heard they only had a handful of 727s out of MIA. Good Luck.
The one thing I can say for that airline. I REALLY learned the 727. Actually have some fond memories.
Thanx guys for your input so far. Any more info on recent stuff would be greatly appreciated and anyone who knows of a clean and cheap crash pad in MIA, I would appreciate hearing from you too. Thanx again
