Yes, I already did a search.

How many days off are you guys getting right now?

Pay -- they told me @$60,000 first year, but airlinepilotpay says $45/hr -- I just don't see it....

767s?

Training?

Good personalities in the pilot group?

Upgrade?

Medical/dental?

How much hiring is going on right now?

Anything elese you can add?

They said they'd type me as an F/O....is that the B.S. S-I-C type, or a real type?

Please PM me with a phone number if you work there...I need to make a decision REAL quick. Anything said will be kept in the strictest of confidence!!

--8 days off, but I have only flown a handful of times so far this month. I'm not 'off', but I am at home about 20 days

--I won't make 60,000, but if you fly enough it is possible. Haven't asked others about their checks

767s?
-- maybe. Unless you are a F/E, it won't change your life tons

Training?
--they keep it moving. You have to work hard on your own if there is something that just isn't clicking. If you aren't keep up, you're on the line. Eg: by sim #6 if your not going to be done by sim #8, they might or might not keep you.

Good personalities in the pilot group?
--Some really great. Some average. A few not so great. Like everywhere else

Upgrade?
--as slots open up, not necessarily in senority

Medical/dental?
--I have HMO for both. Modest 401K match too

How much hiring is going on right now?
--a lot

Anything elese you can add?
--it can be tough at first if you are not used to the type of work. But keep up some outside interests that you can do if you don't fly and you'll keep in good shape

They said they'd type me as an F/O....is that the B.S. S-I-C type, or a real type?
--no idea. Some recent FO's were typed for real, but I don't know the details

At the job fair in Atlanta they said they were hiring direct-entry Captains. What's up with that? Why not upgrade from within?

They also said $100k a year as a CA, but with the hourly rates I'm not seeing it either, more like $75k - $85k...?

20 days average at home with 8 days hard off making $75 - $85k sounds just fine compared to only 12 days off at home making $60k a year.

Thanks for the info!

bump

anyone on the street ca thing? they were talking it up at the career fair... just wondering why no internal upgrades? or just trash talking to get you in the door?

No BS

I've got a bud in there who's a Capt. and they can't upgrade from within due to low times, exp, etc.

He likes it and says it's a good gig. Home every night!

Sounds pretty good. I sent my stuff in a week or so ago, I'll have to call to follow up I guess.

Thanks for the info.

I just did a PC with an ex-Amerijet FE who was furloughed a while back...He had nothing but good things to say about the company. Apparently growth looks good for the next few years, and you can find yourself in the right seat of a 72 in just a few months!

All new hire pilots go to the right seat, only guys with 250 hours a commercial and an A & P sit sideways.

How many hours do you average per month? Is it pretty steady all year?
