Well, if you fly out of CVG, you will be on the "back side of the clock". For every run. And it is the largest (I think) turbine fleet in the system. We depart the outstations (home) at about 9 pm and arrive at cvg anywhere from 12pm-1am, then out of cvg at 4-5am and home at 6-7am. Monday pm through Saturday am. This (back side of clock) is due to the fact that cvg is the hub for dhl. If you work at a regional sort center (not the main hub) for ups or dhl, then you will be out in the am, and in in the pm. (You have to meet the jets arriving from the main hub, which is usually just prior to sunrise, then wait on the secondary sort.) These regional sort centers include dfw, slc, phx, bil, ont, etc. I'm not sure about the west coast operations, but I think they are out in the morning-in in the evening type runs. The bad thing about working the hub at cvg is that you don't have time to get much, if any, rest at the hub. At most of the other bases, you have some rest time while at the "hub".

Clear as mud?

What about SLC?

Most SLC runs are very similar to how Coonass One described the regional sort centers operate; out in the morning, back in the evening. His description of both systems/schedules are quite accurate.
