<div class="bbWrapper">Any of you guys work for them? How do you like it?</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">As a 5 year Amflight &quot;veteran&quot;, I think I would speak for the majority of pilot&#039;s and say it&#039;s not a bad place to work. As far as FAR 135 operators go they are one of the better outfits.<br /> <br /> Now I shall wait for some f**king smart*ss alumni to flame me! <br /> <br /> PM me if there is more specific info you are looking for.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I agree, for a cargo op its a pretty good place to work...<br /> <br /> Pretty good maintenance compared to smaller 135&#039;s and good opportunity for advancement.<br /> <br /> Pay Sucks (for a lowly cheiftan driver)<br /> <br /> Your gone all day m-f (m night - sat morn box feeders) but you get a car and hotel most runs.<br /> <br /> Do search for them on the board, you will learn everything.<br /> <br /> Feel free to PM<br /> <br /> Flame away, AMFTeamster. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f644.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt="" title="Roll eyes " data-smilie="11"data-shortname="" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Ihave to say I had a horrible time there and I was hired in as an off the street Metro Capt.<br /> <br /> Just do a search and you&#039;ll see both sides of it.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Thedude,<br /> <br /> Just curious where were you based?<br /> I&#039;m sorry to hear that your experience was not a good one.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I will agree with the previous positive posts. Just over 3 1/2 years. Down side is the pay. For a day loyover job, the layover is what you make of it, and you do have a place to sleep(all) and a car (at most places). They flying is fun, and will get/keep you sharp.<br /> <br /> Cheers</div>

<div class="bbWrapper"><b>Amflight</b><br /> <br /> Just don&#039;t work at Burbank and you will be fine. HQ is a bunch of upstairs idiots.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I don&#039;t think that the pay is bad -- it&#039;s better than most regionals....AND you get PIC time. It&#039;s totally worth it to me.<br /> <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin :D" data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" /></div>

<div class="bbWrapper">It varies widely from base to base but all in all its a pretty good place. Especially when compared to other 135 companies.<br /> <br /> Just be strong enough to call your own shots. There are a handfull of people there who do not always have safety, regs, or your best interest in mind.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I think the experience varies according to where you are based. I was in OAK and had no complaints. If you showed up and did your job they pretty much left you alone. The training was very good for a 135 operator. MX was good also. AMF operates a lot of aircraft and they have operating procedures down to a science. Do yourself and your buddies a favor and fly the way the company wants you to fly. That means thinking ahead and planning your descent in the piston birds. Many regionals and even WN like to hire AMF pilots.</div>
