We have jumpseat with Southwest and we are in CASS. Right now PHX is/was short on PA-31 guys, but ok turbine wise. That can change tomorrow though. If you want to work here, then give it a shot. I quit a regional to come and so far after a year I still wouldn't go back. Good luck!

If you are CASS doesn't that usually get you on some airlines that you may not have an agreement with. I guess maybe you would just have to get lucky and have no guarantees.

What rock have you been living under? Regionals hire guys with less than 135 mins all the time. You see pilots getting hired regularly with 1000TT 100-200 MEL. Mesa, TSA, GeauxJets, Great Lakes, RAH, XJT.

Sorry, I work for RAH...we don't look at you without 1500/300. All the others, except XJ and TSA I consider as Slave labor.

The Texas outstation vacancies have been filled. Both pilots are about 3\4's the way through training right now.

Lol! Which means they will still need to hire pilots here very soon.
Where did the last group of Texas PA31 pilots go? I though they just filled everything about 2-3 months ago?

One washed out of training, and the other is transferring to PHX. The two inbounds are probably keepers.

There are three runs out of BUR to VGT, 126,127,121. The 127 slot is filled by a guy who lives in vegas. He has been doing it for years, plus since he is a 99 capt. They run it in a 99 to free up some more PA-31's. The 126 is a mid day departure say 1300 and back at 2000 make a stop in HHR on your way back. 121 on the other hand is a early morning dep 0630 layover all day in VGT and return to BUR 2015. The 121 slot could be filled by some one who lives in Vegas but you would have to layover in BUR all night and getting the Freight and plane back on friday night is another story.

Hope that helps somewhat.

You can count on putting in roughly 4-5 months worth to be able to start to bid for the good routes, particulary 126. Been working here about that long and just now am the "senior" PA-31 driver at Burbank. As soon as I get used to the good schedule I'm sure I'll be upgrading to the 99 (no complaints there). But 126 is attainable but your going to put in your dues so to speak on the harsher schedules.

Now be honest. You will never hold 126. Those that work out of BUR know that a part time on call owns that run. You might get it on Mondays and Fridays. The rest of the week good luck.
