6 months for the 99, 1 year for the 1900/Metro. It is prorated, from what I was told.

This info is a year old, someone may have more info-

"Equipment commitment" is the company parlance for the training agreements. I only had to sign them for the 1900 and Metro. The BE99 is not subject to a signed agreement to the best of my knowledge.

Years ago when I started at AMF I was required to sign a 6 month commitment. I don't think that has changed any.

Is there a contract with the pistons? Or only with the turbines?

No contract for the pistons, however you make a verbal agreement to stay with the company for a year. If you leave prior to a year, they won't give you a letter of reference.

Why would anyone leave Ameriflight, assuming they got in the door, without getting to the turbine equipment???

Oh, that's right, the regionals are hiring...
