Are they hiring in to the Metro or Beech 1900?

Depends on your time and if you're willing to take a run that's hard to fill internally.

Close to 3000 tt, 1800 turbine, 1600 multi, previous cargo exp? sound good for ya? :D

Hmm...PDX might have a live one for that Richland run!!! ;)

We can only hope, i'm soon to be taking over the current fill in guy's spot doing fill in for Richland. Give me about 2 weeks and i'm sure i'll be asking god, allah, etc. etc. for anybody to take it from me.

I got to say I love it here at AMF. I was flying the PA31 out of BUR, now im in the bro out of CHO. You'll love it here

Single pilot freight dogging is the best! I know I enjoyed it

AMF is pretty fun if you can learn how to sleep in shifts (just like the amf pilota safety supplement recommends). Just avoid the crappy bases (OAK/BIL). Good luck!

BIL bad?

What's so bad about BIL?

'Nuff said.

Bigs

Does Ameriflight pay you after you finish the first week of BIGS or does the pay start after your 135 ride?

You get training pay after indoc (I think it is California minimum wage for when you are actually in training - not necessarily 40 hours per week) and then you get paid for the aircraft pay scale after your 135 captain ride (or FO in the case of the Bro.)

Indoc is done and over

Well, our indoc class is done and over. We survived Bob. It wasn't that bad. Ground school is on the Tuesday.

AMF guys,

Does Ameriflight operate the 1900 out of San Juan? If so, what's the status with getting based out of there? I'm not sure how most people would feel. If that would be a desired base or not.

Thanks,
AV8N4Fun

Yes, AMF does operate several 1900's in San Juan. Last I heard there were no openings in San Juan, but that could change at any time.
