Look at the remarkable resemblance of paint schemes on the tails. No wonder folks were predicting this merger the moment they filed for bankruptcy on the same day.

I love the link to an "article" in the WSJ. Anyone recognize the authors?

Anyways, according to the website, it looks like it is a win for employees, customers, and communities!

If tail designs are any indicator, then they are also merging with South African.

This merger was inked years ago. Both airlines filing for BK in the same NY court on the same day, Delta hiring a NWA exec even as he claims he was not there to facilitate a merger with NWA. Then suddenly a DAL/NWA merger. Coinsidence? Right.
