Hopefully things are getting better for this out fit. They went thought some rough times in 2004-2006 with some accidents. I know they lost some of there flying in the "green zone" of the FRB (Fed Reserve Bank) in May, but I think they pick up some routes out of the Northeast. I also saw them post for a position in OAK a while back. Check with ACT700 on this board He might still work there.

I just took a job with them two weeks ago, so I can't really answer your questions. I will say that everyone I have met so far has been great. This is the kind of company that won't treat you like a number. I've heard of lots of employees leaving and then coming back it that tells you anything.

what are their bases? Starting salary and any pay increases? M-f flying? I've been looking at this company too as I would love to fly an MU-2. Thinking about leaving a regional for it!

they just posted for pilots for DTW & SLC bases. minimums are 135.243 pay is good to start 38k increase after 6 months and yearly after that. most routes are 4night a week, some are 5 nights. weekends off

I worked for act out of SLC. Great group of guys. Shi!ie airplanes. I lost 3 friends while working for them. the FAA stepped in, and think that there airplanes are a lot safer. CC the old chief pilot was a great guy. I am not sure who the new cp is. Best of luck to you and your new job. Just remember that the MU2 need to be respected more then any other airplane out there, and you will have a blast. And stay High and fast.
Pilotbrain..

Is the turbine pic that you log in an MU-2 valuable for going to companies such as UPS, FedEx, or Cherry Air...or do they require turbine time logged in heavier aircraft that require types?

LOL, huh??

I bet if you are competitive enough to fly an MU2 at ACT, you're probably overqualified for the right seat at Cherry. ;)

I know I was laughing my a$$ when I saw that. That aside I think he means the cherry air out of Louisiana or Arkansas or somewhere out that way that operates c-130s, but people have said weirder things.
