Were those your first words to "Uncle" Steve?

Bye Bye---General Lee

Sorry Genny, epic fail, I see you are really trying, but your Aspergers just shines through. You keep scouring the Internet from your basement "apartment" for tidbits that capture your interest about the airline industry, and post them right up. It's ok to surf the Internet while wearing your Batman costume that your mom sewed together, just remember that, your quest for right and justice for the USAir/AA ect pilot groups seniority integration will be heard by the arbitrator, since everyone knows they all frequent FI for your tidbits. Remember the world has a place for you too, it's probably at the car wash wiping down the right side wheels.
Keep on fighting the good fight!

Totally stupid post. The current DL CEO and team run circles around your "electronic company" CEO. The stock is up more than 200% from a few years ago (hit $17 a share, up from $5 a share at merger---most pilots got between 3000 and 3800 shares too---thanks!). They thought outside the box, bought a refinery, which should contribute $50-60 million in savings per quarter. They also found a way to lower DCI costs, which was pure genius. (That is why PBR is upset)

So, not all airline CEOs are bad. Some Brasilia FOs like PBR are bitter, though. Too bad....

Bye Bye---General Lee

Totally stupid reply,
Lessee, enter BK take hundreds of millions from the employee groups in pay and work rules, exit BK,"give"(return) 5% or so of what they stole and industry watching trolls like you think that they are magnanimous. It's hard to decide who is more retarded, you or the upper management groups. You win by a narrow margin, only because you sit in a dark basement and pretend to be a DAL pilot. You cheer a share price of 17.00, Apple share price today is 448.00, your fantasy company bought a whole fleet of Edsel grade planes, that aren't even built anymore, a refinery that no one wanted, all with money that they took from the employees in BK. no wonder the stock skyrocketed to 17.00.

Like I said before- executive compensation running wild has stifled this entire country- it's a flat out cop out that we ought to put up with it
Earn it over the long term and I have no problem with getting rich- be wise, work hard, be efficient, lead, inspire, innovate- nobody should take profits you create- but rewarding POSITION???? FAILURE???? We all should have issues with that

the "international ceo and managers union" has some of the most highly lucrative, highest paid, longest lasting union CBA's in the world. Very tough to get into that union.

You're onto something here, except it's really not akin to a Union where members combine to be in a stronger bargaining position. No, it's more like a cartel where all members know each other since they met in those super exclusive private prep schools.

They sit on each others boards and determine each others "worth". It's the most incestuous setup outside of the catholic church. (disclaimer, was raised catholic...)

I always have to laugh when I hear they arrested someone for insider trading when it is so obvious that they all engage in it as a whole...

They have become so good at this form of legalized corruption that they don't even need guns to enforce it like they do in places like Mexico or Colombia. All that's required is a letter from their lackey lawyers...
