It was reported today that clt isn't going to build that international terminal after all. I think it has something to do with the fact that AA/US are cutting the international flights already. I don't' expect clt to much more than a focus city in a few years.

Still going to be built but will be domestic initially unless intl demand increases. Aag mgmt has said they will fill every gate at Clt because it is the cheapest airport in the us to operate from. With JFK, phl and Mia, expanding Clt intl may not be necessary.

Everyone talks about PHX being shrunk and that may happen but I also expect CLT to be refocused as a connection hub for just the southeast region and not on a national level it is not.

What On earth replaces CLT hub on the East Coast?!?! Nothing! The place is jammed, every freaking day
