Sympathy

Our thoughts and prayers go out to their family and friends.

A great man and a good friend

I had the honor of working under Captain Vogler as an intern for American Airlines in the ORD chief pilot's office. A wonderful man and a true friend in every sense of the word. In just 5 months I felt as though I had been made a part of his family and he truly cared about my personal and professional success. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and daughters. Fly safe.

I met Captain Price several times and was always impressed with the absolute air of professionalism which he carried himself. He was they type that made me as a kid say 'that is what an airline pilot is supposed to look like.' My old man always said he was one of the best Chief Pilots he ever had and was very popular during his time at ORD.

It's almost scary to think, but the guy who replaced Captain Price after he retired was the captain who died in the LIT crash. My sympathies go out to the faimilies of those lost. It just goes to show you guys it can happen to any of us!

It is a sad dAAy,

Carl Price was a legend among the pilot corp. Still talked about years after he retired as the finest; as a man, an aviator, a chief.

Capt Vogler personally helped me with days off and a kind ear when I was based there on the 737 and going through my divorce.

Thank you for the kind words, the American family has had a rough few years with losses.

Cpt Vogler donated one of his afternoons to show all of Alpha Eta Rhoers around ORD flight ops, a 767 and the ramp. Very nice man and my thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to all those involved and touched. I wish all AA employees best of luck in these hard times that now just got harder.
