I just did my class 2 with this doctor (I think he does everything):

DR. COLEMAN R SESKIND
(312) 726-7595

Not sure what you mean by reliable, but his office is at 30 S Michigan ave, downtown Chicago, right around the art museum.
(He might have other offices)
Very thorough and professional, good guy.

When people say "reliable" or anything else in quotes, they mean they are looking for an AME who'll slap yer nuts twice, make you cough, and send you on your way. For female pilots, I am at a loss as I have never sat in on one of their physicals. Being thorough is not a thing I look for in an AME. I'll save that for my physician. The best AMEs seem to be pilots themselves. In that vane, if you don't mind a little drive...Lansing, MI has a very good AME for airline pilots. Drop me a line if you want his name.

I had a Class 1 Medical exam years ago with Seskind... he was good and located in downtown Chicago, but charged $150... again, that was years ago.

Dr. Klemptner is an airline doc and aviation buff... nice older, great attitude guy... Class 1 Medical - $75.. give him a try and you'll feel good about giving a doctor your business:

H.Edward Klemptner, MD.
5410 Warren Street
Morton Grove, IL 60053 ( North/West Burbs...near Niles, Skokie)

847-583-0939
