dude I'm an amc reservist (c17 guy) and i know another c17 reservist that got hired by cathay but they will not let you miss one single minute of work for military leave, so he decided to go to southwest instead. pm me if you have any more questions.

Had someone from my Guard unit that resigned from CP due to conflicts with his military schedule.

CP, from all I've heard and read, are NOT pro military reservist/guardsman. Take it for what it's worth.

I have great luck being a reservist and flying for Cathay, but that's flight training not the AMC. I know of a few guys that fly C-130's, but nothing bigger then that.

They have to abide by USERRA, and are getting better and better about truly giving you the time you need.
