Saw on the news this AM pictures of a hotel fire in Paris with flames and people jumping out the windows. I wonder how many of them assumed it was a false alarm.

Agreed...most alarms are false. But, any alarm is going to send me to the nearest stairwell. I'll see how it turned out from the parking lot. The few articles I've read by firefighters about hotel fires never suggested waiting around to see what happened.

Keeping my one-way ass out of Jail is high on my list of priorities.

But I can still look!

yeah, he did say 'girls'... I doubt many were over 18.
My friend gets sentencing this week btw. Federal crime, mandatory time.
AND lifelong registration in any US town he lives in as a Sex Offender, just what any of us dream of.

I am shocked to see some of the lousy hotels that crews stay at. SWA is leading the pack, they may look nice on the stock market but they put their people up in close to crack houses.

Well...if he was flamming, that would explain the fire alarm! :D

Ouch...that reminds me. Just this week in local news there was a sad story of an 18 yearold dad that got arrested for being abusive in disciplining his child who wouldn't go to sleep. No sympathy for the guy there...however the odd thing was that police figured that the parents were 16 and 14 when the child was concieved. So they also charged both parents with 'molesting each other'. Now that's just plain wierd. It's now a crime to be normal. Yea, yea, yea...some will chime in and say 16 and 14 yearolds don't or shouldn't do this, but it happens...it happened and will happen tomorrow. Should it be a crime? No. Should 17/18 yearold dads and moms be responsible for raising their child with care? Yea.

And that IS the crux of the buscuit. Is it a false alarm or is it a real fire. Pranksters that pull fire alarms should be found and prosecuted...if not shot.
