Hey Xrated, Just want to point out: "Airbus" and "Going" don't rhyme. hehehe!:D

Spoke with a friend of mine in training today and it's nothing but meetings and some ground school for the sim instructors. Something about a Christmas party on the 14th as well. Nothing to be alarmed about. For what it's worth.

Anybody know about the starting pay at Atlas?
What about chances of a Miami domicile?

How is that Stanstead base working out for new hires? Is that commute just brutal, or do they actually fly you from home more often than not?

Starting pay is 74.55 for FO's and FE's. 50 hour guarantee the first year then 62 hrs thereafter. On the hiring side here is the latest from the Atlas site.

Question: Is it true that training the 60-70 crewmembers (including 22 FEs) for the 17 day work month has now been delayed possibly till March instead of January?
Response: The Company is currently finalizing the staffing plan for 2005 and beyond. There are a number of factors involved, however, that may offset some or all of the need to hire Crewmembers due to the 17-day work month, including possible adjustments to the fleet and improvements to Crew efficiency as a result of a number of Crew Scheduling initiatives.

Any luck getting on w/o turbine PIC? I know Gemini is taking F/O's from regionals that have all the required mins with exception to the turbine PIC. I'm single, so London isn't a problem for me...

Whalerider, you got that right!! Airbus usually has to be covered in mechanics before it will operate somewhat normal!! On the other hand, if you want to have a scenic ride through the tree's, Airbus is the way to go!!

And then there was silence......
