Ok listen to this,

Alpa is coming around the newhires at Skywest and grilling hotdogs on the first day of their ground school to make a good impression.

Here are some highlights.

-Some MEC from ASA was up here talking about how great ALPA was (really hows that been working out for your guys) he had the retarded nerve to tell the newhires that if ALPA was not voted in at SW that skywest runs the risk of being "stapled" to the bottom of ASAs list "once the two airlines merge. Hey ASA MEC, its a bad idea to come to SLC and threaten new hires (especially, when 90% are x-alpo members) stapled to the bottom of your list, really? hows TWA doing? WATCH YOUR MOUTH!!!

-Asking newhires to fill out "information" cards, when you read the fine print, they are not information cards, they are a petition for ALPA, you dirt bags.

-ASA we will not let a merge happen, no way in hell

-ALPA is a corporation, that favors the majors, its just business.

-Hey other ALPO Pilots, answer this question

NAME A REGIONAL THAT IS ALPA THAT IS DOING GOOD/BETTER THAN SKYWEST, THERE ARE NONE

Alpa will burn Skywest to the ground!!!!

Well, considering that if we did NOT have a union we would have already taken about 3 paycuts, I would say it's working out pretty well, thanks for asking. And I got news for you, while there is not ONE ASA pilot who wants either group to be stapled to the other, if JA wants to merge the pilot groups you have NO SAY IN IT, because YOU DON'T HAVE A UNION.

I would give anything to see your face had Atkins purchased mesa instead of ASA. All of you suck-ups would be singing quite a different tune.... Atkin would have approached Mesa with a payscale that undercut YOU and all of a sudden Mesa would be getting ALL of skyw holding companies new airplanes.

Why don't you bunch of whiners just be thankful that you were merged with a pilot group that is attempting to raise standards, not lower them?

I thought Skywest pilots were initially suppose to fly the CRJ 700 for the same rate as the CRJ200, and then after 6 months get a dual pay rate. Where is that rate?
Now you are flying the 50/70/90 seat versions for one rate? That's why Skywest needs ALPA.

Could be grounds for having a successful union vote thrown out by a court. You sure they're doing that? I would think ALPA wouldn't make such a mistake.

They don't have 90 seats dip********************, nice try.

OK, 90 seat airframes configured for 76 seats. Does that make it alright?

HOw about XJT or Horizon? Better pay AND less work. Now don't you have your pref bid to work on? Idiot.

BTW, EVERY TWA guy would be working at walmart if it were not for the merger. It wasn't a great deal but better than Chapter 7. Idiot.

OK, so now it has nothing to do with how many seats? It's about airframe size? Make your mind up, you can't have it both ways or are you just looking to blame SKYW for all your problems?

Wow...you guys are a trip! TT, why not let ALPA say what they want to say and let there be a vote? Whats there to be scared of?

It has ALWAYS been about airframe size genius. It it was about seats then the 40 seat RJ would pay less than the 50 seat RJ, though they are the exact same airframe. And sorry to disappoint you, but I don't blame Skywest or their pilots for ANY of our problems at ASA.

And the ATR would pay more than the crj 200?

The union sucks, bottom line. Don't let those scumbags on property unless you like giving your hard earned money away to a useless group.

Or you can keep them off property to continue mgmts profits at your expense without anyone asking your opinion. Just remember, if the company wants you to fly the new CRJ1400 for 200 rates they can without your say.

Say No To Alpo. The Only Thing You Will Get From Them Is A Hotdog. Have You Seen The Salaries At Alpa? They Need Your New Business To Pay For The Extremely High Pay There. Don't Do It.

I'm sorry I forgot its only a turboprop you should get paid less.....or IS it about airframe size...

Didn't I just SAY it was about airframe size and NOT seat capacity? The ATR MTOW is 48,501, the 50 seat RJ is 53,000. Close enough to be the same rate. It's NOT about engine type, or seats, it's about airframe size. Maybe you need to read a little closer next time.

No No No, it's all based on a formula of service ceilings, top speeds, and seating capacity. Hence why the ATR pays about the same as a MARTA bus driver. :)

Have you seen JA's salary at Skyw? He needs you not to vote in a union so he can keep yall flying larger a/c for 200 pay and he can keep his extremely high pay.

It's fact. The company actually sent an email to all pilots alerting them that the "Information Card" was in fact a "yes" petition ballot. I didn't really think alpa would pull a teamsters/DNC stunt like this...

Yep, they tried. I was there. Although I didn't accept a card or any literature, others took some cards with no idea what it really was...

Have you seen the prices of hot dogs recently? with all of the gourmet places now, not just the typical ones.........!

2% is nothing out of my pocket compared to what I would spend on hot dogs per month. Man, I would pay them to let me fly a 90 seater.

Unfortunately, I "DUE".
