A dear friend is currently in the new hire class at AQ.

Peter Clark walked in the other day for the usual dog and pony show, and when someone asked about the continued growth and interviews. Peter said that unless you have a buddy who is a space shuttle pilot that is now looking for work, save that resume for later. I have a stack of recomendations on my desk a mile high.

Personal recomendations are highly weighted there too. All that they really require is 1000ME, everything else in waiverable.

So, still put in your stuff, but unless you have someone on the inside who will push it through for you it is going to be tough.
