Didn't hurt...

Talked with a good friend today who works at Aloha. He answered his cell, just got off the beach - working on his short board - while on reserve...
He said that they still get their contract required pay raises over the next few years. They did agree to a 10% cut, but after factoring in the pay raises it will be closer to about a 5% cut. They also got some much needed language installed to improve some non-rev issues and some other in house stuff they wanted fixed. Overall he is one happy surfer who gets to fly a 700 from time to time.

warm trades, surf everyday, poi and pig once a week, shave ice daily, flyin 737's when you have to work, bikinis everywhere, slippers, shorts and T-shirts, mango season, plate lunches, a small paycut, where do I sign up!
