Just curious. I had 7 hours to kill in the LAS terminal on Wednesday from about 3 till 10 pm. There were at least 9 parked Allegiant aircraft sitting around cold and dark. Do you guys simply not fly on Wednesday? I know that some schedules only operate on certain days, but this seemed like alot of equipment sitting idle. As long as I'm asking questions, how many aircraft do they have? As a side note, the airplanes looked great. They were all very clean with no missmatched fairings or naccells or the other things you often see on older airliners.

At various times of the year they operate at a reduced schedule, hence the planes sitting around (check out a Tuesday during the off season!). I believe they are up to about 46 planes.

My friends at Allegiant tell me that since all the airplanes are owned, they can afford to park the airplanes on days of the week when demand is weak.
