This is straight from our ops notices in sabre, I'm not 100% sure if it applies to the Mainline or other WO and contract guys but I'd bet it does. Basically unlimited JS available on Allegheny flights. Thats US Air flights with numbers 3500 to 3599 for ALG.
Here is the ops notice:
**12/19/02 JUMPSEAT POLICY CHANGE
Effective December 20, the Captain may allow more than one jumpseat rider. The additional jumpseat occupants will be provided a seat in the cabin on a first come, first served basis after all revenue and non-revenue passengers have been accommodated. Please note that this privilege is extended to pilots only.
As a result of increased security, Allegheny/US Airways dispatchers and all non-US Airways pilots/dispatchers must present a revalidated Company I.D. and a valid pilot/dispatcher certificate before being afforded a seat in the passenger cabin (if available).
The Captain will verify the identification/credentials of all jumpseat occupants, including those assigned seats in the cabin. Pilots requesting jumpseat privileges should check in at the appropriate gate with enough time so as not to disrupt/delay the passenger boarding process.
Thats all folks, if any U mainline, PDT or PSA guys can comfirm that this is also thier new policy I'd appreciate it. Like I said before I'm almost 100% sure it is.
MERRY XMAS TO ALL ON THIS BOARD, EVEN TOO THE MAINLINE PILOTS-
NOW I'M OFF TO MY BIG ITALIAN FAMILY XMAS DINNER
