it's from a crappy sega game called 'zero wing' the first part of the video is from the opening credits of the game, a VERY badly translated (hence the engrish) and in the game the little ships you flew were called 'zigs' so that's where it all comes from, the people who made the video just used pop culture 'zig' things to add to the pictures

I've never even heard of that until now. It thought it was quite 'tarded. Of course, my parents wouldn't let me have a Sega (or any game system for that matter) until I moved out.... Could explain my ignorance until now, being an IT worker/computer geek....
