I am sitting here today watching CNN in what seems to be (I hope to be) the final stages of Iraq's liberation. As a US Citizen I wanted all military pilots on this board, as well as the non pilot military to know just how impressed I am at the job you all do. It's just unreal how awsome, brave, educated and dedicated all of you men and women are. Before my furlough from Delta, I had the pleasure of flying with a number of reserve and retired military. I was just so impressed to hear all about the training and capablities that our militrary people have. I think I can say that I am very jealous that I was never able to experience the thrill of flying a fighter, but I must also say that I don't know that I have the heart to be brave in the event of war as you all do. I wanted to take the time to say Thank You to all the active, reserve and retired military that read this. Thank You for loving our country enough to give your life to protect the future of my family. In my opinion you are all Top Guns! I just wanted to make a post that will not result in yet another thread about regionals vs. Majors. RJs vs. Mainline etc. I want nothing more than to just say, you all amaze me. And Thank You once again for all the time and effort you put in to making my country the great place it is.

I too have been impressed with the performance of the troops from top to bottom. When there were arm-chair generals, and second guessers all around, you just kept doin' your job.

SALUTE!
