I just heard from a buddy of mine that the deal is on. Word is everyone jumped the gun last month, including me, but the buyout announcement is set for Dec 4.

Who knows, maybe this is why AMR decided to drop AE. they need cash for the upcomming shoot-out.

From your previous posts I thought SWA was going after Frontier????????

No....it's true.

I was told to report to the CP for a Parka issue.

According to the latest kool-aid from the company we're dropping MEX from LAX and BOS from SEA. And parking two MD's like today. Not sure what the loads were to MEX but BOS surprised me. I'm guessing the Lakers are trying to be "cost neutral" by eliminating BOS and the Seaport layover... I can't wait for Bill Ayer to write a kids book about running an airline...

'Heard from a buddy'???

Is your buddy the vice president of strategic planning?

Oh here's a valuable tidbit - they faked the moon-landings. heard it from a dude who knows. He promised.

The way I read the Kool-aid, we're not pulling out of those cities, we're just reducing the schedule. Maybe one rt instead of two.

Isn't there just one flight a day between Bos-Sea this time of year though. There are never any seats on that flight either.

Did your helmet leak during those SR-71 sorties?

BOS-SEA was planned to be reduced by one round trip during the winter months ago. The MEX all nighter was to be dropped due to lack of demand over winter. Most of the reductions are normal seasonal changes that would never have been announced if we weren't in contract negotiations. As for the MD's??? They are going to all be gone by DEC 08 anyways.

As for SWA??? I'm sure they want our baggage just as everyone has now for the past 30 years.
