How many jumpseats do the various 737 models have. If there are two, do you (or better yet the gate agents) allow both j/s to be filled? Thanks! Trying to do some quick planning here!!

No, the jumpseat wont always be filled. If a jumpseater shows up 10-15 minutes before scheduled push time but the gate agent is ready to close the door early, chances are you will not get on even if the jumpseat is open. It is a completely B.S. policy but the CSA's are under a lot of pressure to get the airplanes out on time if not early. Alaska's employees are being empowered to fixed management's mismanagements.

Thank you both! I'll be EARLY!

Need to get from PDX to SAN next week, was wondering if Capital Air Cargo is on the AS jumpseat list. Thanks in advance!

I dont see Capital Air Cargo in our Jumpseat Access Control program. You might want to talk to your jumpseat coordinator
