Is the interview at Alaska still the same as it has been for the last several years or have they changed the format? Do they still have the sim ride as part of the process? Just curious.

Alaska Hiring Through 2008
Alaska Airlines announced it would be hiring 350 pilots through 2008. It currently has 35 B737-800s on order with options and purchase rights for an additional 65

As far as I could tell it is the same process that they have always done but the sim ride is on a case by case basis. They told me that they base it on who recomended you and your experience. I was lucky and did not do the sim. Got hired and start the 12th of Dec. Very straight forward interview. Good luck.
