THEY ARE

THE ONLY WAY TO GET ON WITH ALASKA THESE DAYS IS A RECOMENDATION BY ANOTHER PILOT OR AN AIR INC. JOB SEMINAR THAT ALASKA ATTENDS TO

Even that won't work now. They are not taking any more applications, even through the "silver bullet" program. If you made your contact at a job fair a few months ago or your buddy walked your resume and application in prior to the window closing (around Dec. 21?) you may be on the "will call" list, otherwise you are outta luck for now.

Good Intel

AKwanabe,
You have your finger on the pulse - keep at it and your time will come.
The company says that they have about 80 pilots on the list - enough to fill the 03 classes. There is a board meeting on the 14th that may produce some interesting times...
Just keep doing what your doing, stay in touch with what is going on, and be ready to pounce!
Good Luck,
AK737FO

Thanks for the helpful info Singlecoil. Do you fly MD-80's for Alaska? Or DAL/AA?
