Say someone wants a certain day off next month...say June 15th.
Is it possible to inter-mix bidding "hard-lines" with reserve lines, with open lines.
In other words, is there anyway to bid...
1. All hard lines with June 15th off ... if I can't get that then
2. All open lines with June 15th off ... if I can't get that then
3. All reserve lines with June 15th off ... if I can't get that then
4. Any hard line ... if I can't get that then...
5. Any open line ... if I can't get that then...
6. Any reserve line
I've gone through all the bidding stuff and it seems that once the hard lines are posted that's it...there is no waiting to see what the open flying lines will be. It seems that either you have to bid to get a line or not...so is it better to bid to get the 15th off and if you can't get that just take your chances that an open line that I can hold will have the 15th off, or do you bid any line and then drop/trade, etc. to get the 15th off.
Probably won't matter, as I don't think I'll be able to hold any line anyway, but I am curious "for future reference."
Thanks
