Okay, this was posted at 19:51 on the 30th. . . I've started my timer. . .

Any Captain openings for a Sitka base? I will be bidding that eventually! (just a guess!);)

The bid was posted at 12:14 pm Pacific Daylight Time on the Pilot Website, Flight Crew Admin link.

Not sure about the 1900 reference. Is that a zulu reference?

Anyway, looking forward to the furloughed guys/gals getting back to work.

277 lines in Seattle in January would be about on par with the August Seattle lines. Sounds good to me.

With Mexicana ceasing operations for a while, seems like a golden opportunity to bring back even more folks and boost our Mexico flying even more.

I know, thinking weakens the team...

Of course, we would need more airplanes, not two less, as is planned.

QCappy,

DAL's been doing more with less forever now. The vents from the CFM56's never stop smoking and the wings never completely thaw out on the bottom. In fact, I witnessed a debate between mechanics & a Captain as to what a "cold tire" is yesterday. Welcome to the world of increased utilization.

Seems like AS would have to hire to cover all the Delta flying they've been taking. Is AS's route network consolidating around flying to Delta hubs and Cabo?

Also, are Horizon's ops part of the big picture?

A few years before the NWA merger many saw Delta and NWA's routes start to move around in complementary ways. What are you seeing?
