Alaska Airlines Interviews

Has anyone heard of interviews being conducted at Alaska Airlines. The last I knew of happened in early Feb03 (I think). I've heard that there are about 30 people remaing on the current interview list, and those of us waiting on the 'to call' list I'm sure would like to get added to the interview list soonest.

*** Anyone know of a good crystal ball repair shop? Mine is hard down!

I always take the "I gotta friendand he says..." info with a grain of salt but...here it goes:
I've got a friend who talked to the SEA Ass't Chief Pilot about whether there was any chance of my getting an interview for the "pool list" (I am also on the supposed call list). He was told by the ACP that all who are going to receive interviews for the "pool" have already been called. Any further hiring is unknown at the present time due to the current economic/military environment.
Very sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Let's all hope/pray that this Iraq thing is over sooner rather than later so that this amazing industry gets the opportunity to get back on its feet.
