Wiping the sand from my eyes

Heh.

I guess I'm a little cynical and a little gullible too.

Maybe it shows just how crazy this industry has become--I'll believe just about anything now.

Nothing surprises me anymore.

(I'll get even with Dogg later)

Check out the story on Alaskasworld.com. The last information I heard is that we have the leases on the MD's through 2012. Also, the leases on the MD's are dirt cheap so as long as fuel prices are reasonable, I can't see them going to the yard. As far as the aquisition of another carrier, your guess is as good as mine. The Air Group has always been VERY conservative so I don't see them going this route. Just my two cents worth.

Just glad to be here!

Frontier could happen but I threw Jet Blue in there because I knew it would not be long before someone would leap on the trusty market cap comparison as if anything related to the hoodlums on wall street has anything to do with the strength or weakness of an airline.
And to take on DC-6's they would have to change back to those trusty blue shirts, MAR and you know the story on those............maybe they could also get carharts approved for uniform wear......
