I emailed my resume to AirTran a few weeks ago and have not gotten any response from them as to wether they even got it or a thank you for applying or anything. Is this normal?
180....to be sure AIRTRAN HR received your resume I would FAX it in. If you really want to know whats going to happen. HR will probably file it for now due to the fact that AIRTRAN wants a minimum of 5000TT and 1000TT PIC and hopefully 121 PIC. I know that dosent make you to excited but thats just the facts. There are alot of very qualified pilots in the market right now and most of the people Im able to get hired are all Captains at 121 carriers with thousand of hours of TT. My advice would to make Captain and get those hours up....and best of luck..
717--Is the fax number on the website? Do they care if you send in a cover letter(yeah, I know, ALWAYS send a cover letter )? Thanks for the good info.
I don't care about the money, folks, I just love to fly 717's!(paraphrased from Don of Don's Guns in IND )TC
